Important Vale Update: Backerkit & PoD

Hello Chosen Ones,
The presses are rolling and the books should ship my way next week! We will begin sending physical rewards out at the end of the month!
International Backers:
I have received the softback proof from Drivethru and have signed off on it, so you are now able to order your PoD copies! Emails on how to do this were sent earlier today.
US Backers:
We need to start collecting addresses and shipping costs in order to deliver your rewards! Invitations to join the Backerkit pledge manager will start going out today. (They have us do these in small batches, so we can quickly fix any issues that might pop up.)
Please make sure you fill out your info once the invitation arrives. If you don't give me an address, I can't ship your book!

If you pledged for digital rewards, but now want a physical copy: you can do that in the pledge manager!

If you are only getting digital rewards, and don't want a physical copy, you don't even need to fill out the survey! You should already have your pdf and be good to go. (If you don't have it, please let me know!)

If you are getting a physical reward, but want to pick it up from Chez Rick or the Forge Tavern: please pick "local shipping." This way you are not charged any postage.

If you are getting a physical reward, and need it shipped to your address: you need to page the postage before we can ship anything to you. All packages will ship USPS ground via Pirate Ship (so you won't be overpaying!)
There is NO pickup option for Origins, Gencon, PaxU, Acadecon, Lexington Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration, your cousin's birthday, Arbor Day, or any other special occasion! If you select local pickup, you either have to go to Rick's house (and you better already know the address) or wait for a TBD date in July to pick up at the Forge Tavern in Columbus, Ohio.

Vale: Funded + Stretch Goals

Hey there Chosen Ones,
We did it! We reached the funding goal with three days to spare! Thank you so much to everyone who backed thus far and shared the project on their own socials. But we aren't done yet! This project continues until Wednesday night!
This means I need to announce some stretch goals!
The core book is written (and edited) so we aren't adding any new content into the actual printed book, simply because we can't increase the page count at this stage. Also, because of the recently imposed tariffs on paper and ink, even though I print my books in the USA and always have, I may not be able to go forward with the fancy cover ink or printed end sheets (which were originally my first two stretch goals.)
Instead, we have decided to create a PDF of extra situations, milestone twists, and encounters to aid GMs in easily running Vale of the Failed and the Fallen. These extras will be available to all backers at the PDF level and above. Since I need to put all of my attention back into layout, I have reached out to other indie game folks to add their mark on Vale and write up these extra bits from their own imaginations.
Stretch Goal Breakdown

- $11,000 - Extras and twists by Matthew Orr and Madeline M Maiorana
- $11,750 - More extras by Richard Hopkins Lutz
- $12,500 - Even more extras by ???
